Recruit a New Member and Win Contest!
What makes Space City Ski Club so much fun is its members. We can never have too many. They also give the Club more buying power and help keep our travel and program costs lower. However, new members don’t grow on trees. We need your help to recruit new members, and we're going to reward you for your efforts! Space City Ski Club is kicking off a New Member Recruitment Contest that runs from June 15 though September 30, 2006. Here's the deal:
Win one way or the other! You have two ways to win:
1. The member who recruits the most new members will win a $200 credit applied to the cost of a Space City Ski Club ski trip during the upcoming 2006-07 ski season.
2. Two members will each win a $100 credit applicable to the cost of a Space City Ski Club ski trip during the upcoming 2006-07 ski season if their name is selected in the drawing. How do get in the drawing? Just recruit a new member. Every time you recruit a new ski club member, you get your name in the drawing. Recruit two members and you get two chances, recruit twelve new members and you get a dozen chances to win, etc. The more people you recruit, the more chances to win.
The announcement of the winner of the $200 trip credit prize for recruiting the most new members and the two $100 trip credit drawings will be held at the October 2006 general meeting.
Administration & Rules Every contest has a few rules, so here are ours:
1. A "New member" means an individual or couple (dual membership) who has not previously been a member of Space City Ski Club. The new member’s membership application must be completed, approved by the Executive Committee, and the
membership dues must have been paid as of September 30, 2006. A dual membership counts as one new member.
2. The new member must indicate who recruited them to Club. They can do so by writing his or her name on their membership application. If more than one existing member is listed as a recruiter on the application, only the first listed name will be entered in the contest for that new member. If the new member signed up after June 15, 2006, but before you heard about this contest, let us know. You will get credit for your recruitment efforts when we get confirmation from the person you recruited.
3. A member may only win one of the three prizes.
4. If there is a tie for recruiting the most new members, there will be a separate drawing to break the tie.
5. Contest begins June 15, 2006.
6. Contest ends September 30, 2006.
7. Winners must be members in good standing at the time of the award.
8. The total number of at least 2 new members must be recruited by each contestant or the results of the contest are null and void, and no prize credits will be awarded.
9. Any SCSC member who already receives a trip reimbursement is excluded from entering the contest.
