We leave Houston at 8:50 am on Continental and arrives in Portland, Oregon at 11 am for a wonderful 7 days of fun. A scenic 3 hour drive gets us to the fabulous Sunriver Resort (www.sunriver-resort.com) where we have our Condos ready. Daily transportation gets you to the Ski Area (15 mins), or to Bend, Oregon (15 min) for shopping and Dinner. Optional activities to snowshoe at Crater Lake, snowmobile at Elk Lake, and sled dog rides will be offered, along with many other activities. The Sunriver Spa will be available for that pampering we all need. Bend, Oregon offers various sightseeing opportunities. We will also be Skiing the Volcano. Mt. Bachelor covers 3683 acres, 370 inches of annual snowfall, a base of 6300 feet, and 360 degree skiing at the top (www.mtbachelor.com). They also have 56 kilometers of Cross-Country trails. On the 13th, we leave Portland at 11:53 am on Continental and get back to Houston a 6 pm.
Preliminary signup is open with a $150 deposit which is fully refundable until August 14th.
